Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Azure Cloud Engineer (Junior Architect) with expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), DevOps, and Salesforce CI/CD integration. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in AKS while demonstrating proficiency in Azure cloud services, infrastructure automation, and continuous delivery pipelines. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable Kubernetes clusters using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and integration of Salesforce applications or other services.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps tools.
  • Configure and manage Azure cloud services, including Virtual Networks, App Services, and Storage Accounts.
  • Ensure robust application and service monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting within AKS and Azure environments.
  • Support multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies and integrate with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop technical strategies and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Continuously optimize cloud environments for performance, cost efficiency, and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience in Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS), including storage, networking, and compute resources.
  • Proficient in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, particularly for Salesforce applications or other cloud services.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration within AKS environments.
  • Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with cloud security practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and network security groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Experience with Salesforce CI/CD tools and integrations.
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud or multi-cloud strategies.
