RN Manager - Medical Surgical Unit - Full-Time Days - Manchester, NH

Location: Manchester, NH
Schedule: Full-Time • Days • No Weekends
Compensation Range: $47.30 - $65.20/hr (based on years of experience)
Unit: 29-bed Med-Surg unit
Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager - Medical Surgical Unit to provide leadership and operational oversight in a high-quality acute-care environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing leader who values staff development, exceptional patient outcomes, and strategic growth.

Reporting to the Director, the RN Manager will supervise and coordinate patient care delivery, serve as a resource for clinical decision support, and foster a collaborative, team-driven work culture.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Medical Surgical Unit
• Provide clinical guidance and expert knowledge within Med-Surg/Telemetry
• Manage scheduling, staffing, rounding, and patient flow to ensure optimal throughput and satisfaction
• Support recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff
• Assist in competency development, performance evaluations, disciplinary processes, and staff education
• Monitor unit quality measures, audits, compliance, core metrics, and supply management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive patient safety and high-quality outcomes
• Partner with the Director on budgeting and fiscal responsibility
• Support adherence to regulatory, national, and specialty nursing standards
• Maintain a culture of teamwork, communication, accountability, and compassionate care

Requirements
• 1-3 years relevant acute-care nursing leadership experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry (required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Active New Hampshire RN license or valid compact state RN license (required)
