PRIMARY ROLE

The Head of Patient Recruitment & Engagement will lead Alto's global recruitment and engagement strategy across its clinical development programs. This role is responsible for designing and executing a data-driven, patient-centric recruitment model that accelerates study enrollment, enhances participant experience, and ensures operational accountability.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and engagement strategy aligned with corporate and program objectives.
  • Build robust analytics frameworks to measure and optimize recruitment funnel performance.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Operations, Data Science, and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive patient engagement initiatives through strategic partnerships with advocacy groups and community organizations.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all recruitment activities.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing recruitment and engagement team.
LOCATION

Mountain View, CA or Remote

SALARY RANGE

$160,000 - $245,000

Compensation includes a base salary, an annual target bonus, and an equity grant.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of experience in patient recruitment, clinical operations, or related functions, including 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity within biotech, pharma, or CRO settings.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding enrollment goals using analytics-driven methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of digital recruitment platforms, CRM systems, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and executive communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MS, MPH, MBA, or equivalent) preferred.
