Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Federal Programs Director with deep experience in the National Airspace System (NAS) and a strong background in Client operational requirements. The ideal candidate is a former Client systems engineer with over 15 years of experience supporting air traffic control systems and federal aviation programs. This leadership role will oversee strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and program execution across critical aviation modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage federal aviation programs, ensuring alignment with Client operational goals and NAS modernization strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on air traffic control systems and Client regulatory frameworks.
  • Oversee program planning, budgeting, and execution in collaboration with federal stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Provide strategic guidance on integrating emerging technologies into legacy Client systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Client leadership, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure compliance with federal acquisition and program management standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Former Client systems engineer with 15+ years of experience in National Airspace System (NAS) operations.
  • Deep understanding of Client operational requirements and air traffic control systems.
  • Proven leadership in managing complex federal programs and cross-agency initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Client acquisition processes, systems engineering, and program lifecycle management.
