About the Role:

As a valued member of the CBRE Engineering and Technical Services team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our innovative healthcare facility situated on a two-building campus in Denton, Texas.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct essential maintenance and repairs for mechanical, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

  • Adhere to all relevant codes and regulations regarding building operations and safety protocols.

  • Oversee an energy management program to ensure systems are functioning at peak efficiency.

  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to extend the lifespan of building equipment, performing emergency repairs as necessary.

  • Coordinate the safe handling of hazardous materials and maintain a clean and secure work environment.

  • Review system inspections, including HVAC and plumbing, to verify equipment meets design capabilities and environmental standards set by the client.

  • Utilize your expertise to tackle complex tasks and propose innovative solutions.

  • Provide mentorship to team members, sharing your specialized knowledge and collaboration skills.

  • Model CBRE’s core values and foster positive relationships to achieve consensus and collaborative decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED, trade school certification preferred, with 4-5 years of related experience. Universal CFC certification is a plus. Relevant licenses may be required by state or local regulations.

  • Physical ability to perform tasks including stooping, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs or more.

  • Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions based on various information sources.

  • Open to exploring unconventional solutions and approaches.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a curious mindset.

  • Competent in mathematical calculations relevant to the position.
