Travel RN Job Details – Brighton, MA

• Location: Brighton, MA 02135 (Boston area nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Float Pool (Telemetry/MedSurg)
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7:30p & 7p-7:30a)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend (may move to every 3rd weekend), every other holiday
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910 - $1960

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in MedSurg and Telemetry
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficient with Meditech IVs and independent telemetry strip reading
• Must pass on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 (84% or better, up to 2 attempts)
• EPIC electronic health record experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float between 5 different MedSurg/Tele units
• Preferred: 3-5 years previous float pool RN experience

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Float between MedSurg and Telemetry units, including ortho, urology, neurology, GYN, cardiology, surgery, and cardio-thoracic specialties
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population
• Independently interpret and monitor telemetry strips
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform comprehensive nursing assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility across various clinical units
