Position Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer: React/React Native at Signify Health, you'll play a crucial role in our collaborative team, focusing on the design, delivery, and operation of distributed systems. We're looking for technically skilled, passionate individuals who are ready to develop and sustain innovative solutions in our dynamic environment. While this role will be

primarily focused on React development and serving as a subject matter expert/mentor to the team, the team will be developing a full stack application and willingness to occasionally contribute to the backend is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable, robust software solutions using React withTypescript and React Native.

  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development.

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

  • Deliver customer-focused releases through iterative development.

  • Ensure simplicity and maintainability in software design.

  • Collaborate across teams to meet organizational needs.

  • Promote a culture of inclusive collaboration and continuous learning.

  • Mentor junior engineers to improve overall code quality.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software development experience.

  • 3+ years of software development experience using React with Typescript.

  • 3+ years of software development experience using React Native.

  • 3+ years' experience working with software engineering principles: problem-solving, datastructures, algorithms, and patterns.

  • 2+ years' experience with at least one cloud vendor: Azure, AWS, or GCP (Azure preferred).

  • 2+ years' experience with CI/CD, preferably Github.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient with Jest automation testing.

  • Experience in full-stack development, capable of shipping and operating large-scale systems.

  • Experience with monorepo managers, like Nx.

  • Experience with multiple programming languages. Ex: C#, Java, C++, Golang, Javascript, Typescript, Python.

  • Proficiency in technologies like REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure, DevOps.

  • Experience working with Storybook.

  • Experience working with Playwright automation tools.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.

  • Effective communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$106,605.00 - $284,280.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
