Responsibilities
Your essential duties will include:

• Driving sales through outstanding product and service.
• Creating effective weekly work schedules.
• Monitoring food quality and service during all shifts.
• Ensuring the restaurant is fully staffed with quality team members.
• Implementing and overseeing new employee orientation and training programs.
• Regular performance evaluations of Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant Managers.
• Maintaining a clean and organized restaurant, prepared to deliver quality food in a friendly environment.
• Managing purchasing of food, beverages, and supplies while ensuring product quality standards.
• Following established performance, profit, and operating standards.
• Supervising and inspiring team members to perform at their best.
• Managing preventive maintenance of restaurant equipment.
• Upholding service standards throughout operational hours.
• Utilizing management tools for accurate record-keeping.
• Executing marketing plans to encourage repeat visits.
• Reviewing financial statements and progress toward goals with the District Manager.
• Communicating transparently with all levels of staff regarding plans and challenges.
• Mentoring Assistant Managers and preparing them for future growth.
• Fostering a positive and exciting team environment.
• Increasing sales and profits.
• Adapting to the needs of the role with flexibility.
• Maintaining a flexible schedule with at least one open, close, and mid-shift each week, totaling a minimum of 50 hours per week.

Non-essential Job Functions
Maintain physical readiness for all duties, including walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.

Working Conditions
Expect to work in an office setting with computer equipment and within a restaurant environment utilizing kitchen and service equipment, with potential exposure to hazardous conditions.

Capabilities Requirement
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing personnel during shifts, including cashiers and cooks.
• Overseeing inventory management and food costs.
• Completing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks and checklists.
• Hiring and scheduling staff to optimize guest experience while managing labor costs.
• Balancing cash drawers, safe, and credit card transactions daily.
• Operating the restaurant to meet or exceed budget goals.
• Ensuring product quality standards are met.
• Creating an environment focused on quality.
• Leading the team effectively and providing coaching for performance improvement.

Experience & Training Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 1 year of managerial experience in a restaurant environment and at least 1 year of employment at Zaxby's & ZFL Certified. Must successfully pass all ZFL required management tests within 90 days of hire.

Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work a minimum of 9 hours per week
