As a Radiology Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering efficient, safe, and accurate imaging services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Obtaining quality radiographs using both stationary and portable equipment.
  • Ensuring adherence to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and yourself.
  • Conducting necessary computer operations and verifying physician’s orders.
  • Providing exceptional patient care with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Preparing examination rooms and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Assisting radiologists with procedures, including administering contrast agents.
  • Reviewing exams for technical accuracy and maintaining documentation in PACS.
  • Collaborating with the Diagnostic Supervisor on necessary equipment maintenance.
  • Keeping up with educational requirements to enhance professional skills.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of patient and employee information at all times.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.
  • Current registration as a Radiographer (ARRT).
