As a Radiology Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering efficient, safe, and accurate imaging services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining quality radiographs using both stationary and portable equipment.
- Ensuring adherence to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and yourself.
- Conducting necessary computer operations and verifying physician’s orders.
- Providing exceptional patient care with professionalism and courtesy.
- Preparing examination rooms and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Assisting radiologists with procedures, including administering contrast agents.
- Reviewing exams for technical accuracy and maintaining documentation in PACS.
- Collaborating with the Diagnostic Supervisor on necessary equipment maintenance.
- Keeping up with educational requirements to enhance professional skills.
- Maintaining confidentiality of patient and employee information at all times.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.
- Current registration as a Radiographer (ARRT).
