  • Average First-Year Pay: $80,000-$90,000
  • Guaranteed Minimum: $65,000 per year

Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

  • Conduct pre/post trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report.
  • Check bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries.
  • Drive safely and efficiently, applying your knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations, documenting deliveries, product temperatures, and exceptions.
  • Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring:

  • At least 21 years old.
  • Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A).
  • Minimum of 1 year or 50,000 miles of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level necessary for safe job performance, including understanding instructions and safety protocols.
