Job specification
- Provide triage, stabilization, and emergency interventions for patients of all ages presenting with urgent and life-threatening conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond quickly to emergent needs
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in rapid response and code blue events
- Support the orientation and training of new staff and nursing students when applicable
