Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer with a minimum of 3 years of professional tax preparation experience to join our Lansing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and committed to delivering accurate, high-quality tax services.
We offer year-end performance bonuses and provide opportunities for advancement , including potential promotion to Office Manager for qualified candidates.
Experience with Drake Software is preferred but not required.
** Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and answer questions
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
** Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience
- ** Drake Software** experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
