Seeking CNAs and HHAs for 8-10-12-hour Shifts

One of our biggest current needs is caregivers able to fill longer shifts -- both DAY shifts (such as 7a - 7p or 8a - 8p) and OVERNIGHT (7p - 7a or 8p - 8a). Some of our shifts are in the client's home, some are in assisted living facilities. They can range from:
- serving as a companion (monitoring their condition, helping with meal prep, light housekeeping, etc.) ...
- to providing assistance with mobility and personal tasks such as bathing, dressing and incontinence care.
- Prior experience in caregiving preferred.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients and their families.
- Dependability in getting to shifts on time with few call outs..
- Valid driver's license and a vehicle with current registration and insurance always available.
We are different from other caregiving agencies in one very important way -- all of our office staff are caregivers We know both the difficulties and the rewards of the job -- so we make every effort to find shifts matching your preferences and available days/times. We believe that if our caregivers are happy, our clients are going to be happy ... and our caregivers are going to stay with us.
Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
We are a company run by caregivers not business managers. Our mission is to provide superior care and safety for our clients ... but also to retain our caregivers by keeping their needs and preferences uppermost in our scheduling. We try to find shifts that match their preferences, and clients that fit their skills and comfort level. In hiring, we look for caregivers who are compassionate, well-trained, reliable and vigilant. If you are new to caregiving but are empathetic and responsible, and you enjoy helping others, we will train you.
Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what we all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes or assisted-living facilities.
