Job Title: Welder Job Description

This role involves welding on steel enclosures that house diesel generators and diesel fuel oil supply tanks. Responsibilities include layout, fitting, and MIG welding on mild steel. You must be able to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and use a tape measure effectively from the first day.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout, fitting, and MIG welding on mild steel.

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.

• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

• Measure accurately using a tape measure.

Essential Skills

• Over two years of experience in MIG welding.

• Experience in layout and fitting.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Basic understanding of hand and power tools.

• Tape measure reading proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding School Experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
