Job Description

As a Risk and Payments Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our gaming operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Verifying gameplay on casino and poker platforms to ensure accurate payouts and identify fraudulent activities such as collusion, chip dumping, and bot usage.
  • Checking new account registrations for connections to known negative accounts.
  • Monitoring accounts displaying sudden changes in gaming or transaction behaviors.
  • Requesting and validating documentation including proof of financial instruments, proof of identity, and proof of address from customers as necessary.
  • Coordinating with the payment gateway team to address cases of financial mismanagement.
  • Assisting the Payments team in handling chargebacks and enabling proper representments.
  • Resolving customer inquiries escalated by Sales, Support, and Security teams.
  • Ensuring high-quality interactions with customers.
  • Participating in training, coaching sessions, and team meetings as required.
  • Facilitating escalations to Sales, Support, and Security teams and following up on resolutions.
  • Engaging in various tasks as needed to support new product launches and promotional activities.
  • Maintaining compliance with audit and procedural standards throughout all actions.
  • Assisting customers in processing deposits and withdrawals via email, chat, and phone.
  • Reconciling cashier transactions with the payment gateway and other financial institutions.
  • Downloading chargeback transactions and collaborating with the Security team for representments.
  • Contacting customers when payment processing methods need adjustment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A strong understanding of current security threats and a commitment to staying informed about security developments.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, policies, and standards.
  • Familiarity with security regulations and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001/2, NIST, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Experience in audit processes and third-party risk management.
  • A background in conducting risk assessments and corrective action planning.
  • Proficiency in developing and writing security policies and procedures.

Compensation

Pay rate is $25/hour. Compensation is based on various factors, including position, education, skills, work experience, and other factors permitted by law.
