HVAC Technician

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems for commercial customers. This role is perfect for a technician looking for flexible hours and steady, ongoing work.Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues, including heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units
- Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections
- Install HVAC units, thermostats, ductwork, and related components
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems
- Provide clear communication to customers regarding findings, recommendations, and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent
- Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with office staff to schedule and complete service calls efficiently
- Minimum 2-3 years of HVAC service and repair experience
- EPA 608 certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of HVAC diagnostics, tools, and equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor environments
- New York City refrigeration license or similar credentials
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems
- Electrical experience is a plus (not required)
- Part-time position with flexible scheduling
