Like a good party? Enjoy making an event run smoothly? Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is looking for Event Volunteers in the Sarasota/Bradenton area for the 'Celestial Soiree’, which be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at The Art Ovation Hotel in Sarasota. This is an annual, signature fundraising event with proceeds providing non-medical financial support to cancer patients.

Event Date: Saturday, February 21, 2026

Event Time: 5:00-10:00pm

Event Location: 1255 N Palm Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236

VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Volunteers will be assigned responsibilities for the evening’s event. It is important to be flexible, as your roles may change throughout the event

For example: Greeting and directing guests; registration; selling raffle tickets; overseeing the silent auction area; live auction spotters; silent auction closing; and event breakdown

VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS:

  • Attire will be black pants and shirt with close-toed shoes.
  • NO alcohol during the event.
  • Dinner will be provided during the event, and volunteers will be able to take breaks throughout the evening as needed in a designated room.
