Job Overview
In this key role, the Facility Medical Director is responsible for the oversight and management of all clinical operations including staffing and utilization of fulltime and premium contingent labor, compliance with protocols and practice standards as well as managing the relationships between Anesthesia and the Hospital u2019s MSO, Surgical Services and C-Suite/Administration. They will work in partnership with the facility u2019s Director of Physician Services, the Assistant Vice President of Operations and with the Regional Medical Director in their market. The ideal candidate will be a highly effective communicator- one that is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and able to successfully partner with facility leadership and ancillary departments. This individual will also have a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards and value Practice stability and retaining our talented team members. Bread & Butter cases. Ortho, Robotics, GYN, Urology. No hearts. No heads. No OB. No Peds. Need to be Block proficient. No overnight call. Beeper call from home until 11p with minimal call back rate. Late start, 11am for Call Doc and stays until last case. Rotate weekend call coverage.

For the past four years, HCA Healthcare has been operating this Program as an employed group and we continue to maintain a collegial, productive clinical environment where our Physicians can focus on providing outstanding patient care.
