TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist (MT) to perform complex laboratory testing across multiple departments, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and transfusion services. The MT will ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality laboratory results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a wide range of diagnostic laboratory tests with precision and accuracy.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot clinical laboratory instruments and analyzers.
- Ensure compliance with quality control and quality assurance procedures.
- Verify and validate test results before releasing to healthcare providers.
- Process and prepare specimens according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain complete and accurate records within the laboratory information system (LIS).
- Collaborate with medical staff and laboratory team members to support patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) required or eligible.
- State licensure if applicable.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical lab experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
