We currently have a full time position available for an Intermediate Electrician* in Baldwin Park, CA. The intermediate Electrician is responsible for the installation of electrical wiring and low voltage wiring for the In-N-Out Burger stores. This position will report to the Electrical Supervisor.

*Must have an active ET Card from the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).

General Responsibilities:

  • Have knowledge with tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure; Must have 4 or more years' experience as an Electrician
  • Be familiar NEC Code
  • Demonstrates the ability to differentiate between 3 way and single pole switches
  • Installing electrical wiring in buildings and light poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts.
  • Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for the electrical systems
  • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems and equipment for In-N-Out Burger
  • Replace, add new, or relocate existing switches and receptacles; Pull wire and redirect circuits
  • Arrange wiring, fixtures, and conduit boxes in preparation for installation of various alarm and electrical systems; Install wiring, conduit, and pipe
  • Ability to troubleshoot fan controls and contactors (Lighting Systems)
  • Service calls and Preventable Maintenance
  • Perform trench work for in-ground installations
  • Work safely around live electrical panels
  • Work safely on ladders while working on light fixtures
  • Capable of safely turning off power to devices without shutting down the store
  • Observe all safety guidelines and maintain the cleanliness of work area
  • Ensure that all electrical installations are accurate and serviceable
  • Confirm workmanship meets the requirements of applicable technical and safety standards
  • Maintains company vehicle, tools, and supply inventory
  • Work with and around Carpenters, Plumbers, IT Tech, and Maintenance Tech
  • Keep track of progress and communicate with Supervisor daily.
Work Schedule + Benefits:
  • Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
  • Pay Range for Beginner level is $29.91 - $34.25 an hour
  • Pay Range for Intermediate level is $34.33 - $42.50 an hour
  • The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
  • Shifts: 4, 10-hour shifts per week
  • Shifts: Rotating days - Schedule can be: Mon-Thur , Tue-Fri shift, or Thur-Thur on 8 Day runs
  • Hours: Graveyard shift: 12:00 am-10:30 am; overtime as needed
  • Home office in Baldwin Park, CA; Must live within 45 miles of Baldwin Park

Travel Schedule:
  • Travel (driving) is required
  • Company vehicle will be provided
  • Out-of-town Travel required: up to 80% travel will be outside of town or the state, including overnight hotel stays
  • Travel required to all states where INO operates
  • Travel out of town will be for 8 days at a time
Qualifications:
  • Must have an ET Card from the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) (Required)
  • 4-8 years experience as an Electrician
  • 4-8 years experience in industrial and/or commercial Electrical systems
  • High school diploma or its equivalent; Vocational degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of electrical functions; Knowledge of electrical equipment and tools; Knowledge of electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Understand electrical repair and replacement decisions
  • Valid California driver's license; company vehicle will be assigned
  • Strong concentration skills - Must be able to work in exposed electrical panels with a high level of concentration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; advanced communication skills with all levels of management
  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills
  • Proven history of providing outstanding customer service while proactively troubleshooting/problem solving
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while remaining organized, efficient and flexible
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Ability to work autonomously/independently yet be an integral part of an overall team environment
