We are seeking skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technicians to join our professional network. In this role, you will assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, operate specialized equipment, and provide high-quality patient care. Assignments are available in hospitals and specialty cardiac centers, offering competitive pay, flexibility, and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining processes, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring safety.
- Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to emergencies.
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Accurately document procedures, patient data, and equipment use.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Associate's degree or certificate in cardiovascular technology, radiology, or related field.
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT certification preferred.
- State license as required.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
