Job Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Drive the full embedded software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and test software solutions for aerospace and defense applications. Optimize software for performance, reliability, and maintainability using cutting-edge tools and methodologies. Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies to enhance offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the full embedded software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and test software solutions for aerospace and defense applications.

  • Optimize software for performance, reliability, and maintainability using cutting-edge tools and methodologies.

  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies to enhance offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in C, C++, and other programming languages for systems programming.

  • 5 years of software development experience.

  • 3 years of hands-on experience with real-time Linux and RTOS.

  • 2 years of working experience with hardware-software integration, particularly with ARM platforms.

  • Ability to obtain secret clearance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Currently having an active clearance is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Python.

  • Familiarity with Directed Energy and Space Domain Awareness technologies.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site work, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm. The work environment is casual, allowing jeans and polo attire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

Able to provide our client's benefits package during the screening process.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Las Vegas,NV.
