Logistics Technician

Volt is immediately hiring for a Logistics Technician in East Mesa, AZ. As a Logistics Technician you will:
- Oversee shipping, receiving, staging, and secure storage of data center equipment.
- Perform inventory management and cycle counts using warehouse systems and tools.
- Carry out technical tasks such as hard drive sanitization and workstation setup.
- Utilize multiple internal platforms to track inventory and maintain workflow accuracy.
- Process work orders and coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare hardware for deployment through unpacking, crating, and packaging.
- Ensure facility organization and cleanliness, including material disposal and breakdown.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment (forklift experience preferred).
This is a full-time (1 year assignment) opportunity. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
The ideal candidate will have:
- Over two years of hands-on experience in logistics, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Exceptional attention to detail with proficiency in working with spreadsheets and audit documentation.
- Strong technical aptitude: familiarity with SAP is highly desirable.
- Excellent manual dexterity and coordination for handling equipment and materials.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license required for operational duties.
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experienced in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
