Job Description:
The Estimator plays an essential role in our commitment to exceptional customer service. You will create thorough estimates, coordinate repair needs, and maintain open lines of communication with customers and insurance providers throughout the repair process. Your accurate assessment of vehicle damage and meticulous documentation of required repairs will directly impact customer satisfaction and the achievement of our facility's KPIs.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Document every customer interaction with accuracy and detail.
- Provide timely and precise information to guide customers through the repair process.
- Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and company metrics.
- Adhere to all procedures related to customer drop-offs, repair planning, and communication.
- Effectively communicate customer needs to team members.
- Greet customers with enthusiasm both in person and on the phone.
- Be knowledgeable about necessary insurance programs and procedures.
- Engage in daily production reviews with the Management Team.
- Support team members as needed.
- Participate in health & safety and staff meetings as required.
- Attend recommended training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain KPIs by optimizing performance in your role.
- Uphold our Core Values: Honesty, Integrity & Respect.
Education and/or Experience Required
- Strong understanding of repair processes and OE guidelines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Adept at sourcing information and solutions.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Minimum of 1-year experience with DRPs compliance.
- Willingness to complete I-CAR Training.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficient in identifying where to find information.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Experience in DRP compliance for at least 1 year.
- Commitment to completing I-CAR Training.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
