Investment Analyst

A leading global asset manager is seeking a driven and analytical Investment Analyst to join its Principal Investments team. This team manages approximately $40 billion in assets and invests across both private credit and equity (currently a 75/25 split, subject to market conditions). The firm offers a dynamic buy-side platform with broad deal exposure, consistent transaction experience, and direct access to senior investment professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support deal execution across private credit and equity investments
- Conduct financial modeling, including LBO and valuation analyses
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Participate in due diligence and market research
- Collaborate with senior team members across the investment life cycle
- Strictly 1-2 years of post-undergraduate professional experience
- Prior experience in investment banking, ideally in M&A or Leveraged Finance
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling (especially LBO models)
- Background at a Bulge Bracket, Elite Boutique, or Middle Market investment bank
