Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Project Control Engineer to join their team. We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design and development of cutting-edge robotic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robotic systems based on project specifications, ensuring technical accuracy through advanced electrical calculations.
- Collaborate across departments to translate customer needs into technical solutions, providing technical support and leadership.
- Actively participate in project lifecycles, including kickoff meetings, design reviews, and testing phases.
- Conduct comprehensive testing to validate project success and analyze data to ensure designs meet specifications.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by adhering to ISO procedures, providing feedback for process optimization, and maintaining project documentation.
- Partner with the Application Engineer and/or Marketing team on technical proposals.
- Leverage your expertise in fuse & wire sizing, Allen Bradley PLC & HMI programming, and NFPA 79 to develop standard engineering solutions and analyze closed orders.
- Assist in preparing and presenting engineering change documentation.
- Communicate project status updates effectively to team members.
- Travel may be required. A valid driver's license and full coverage auto insurance are a must.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in HMI and PLC programming, particularly Allen Bradley products.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 79 electrical safety standards.
- Experience with AB safety processors is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills to tackle both technical and administrative challenges.
