Development of automation actions for Microsoft Windows Operating System (OS) and housed databases and applications (PaaS) service offerings. Act as the key Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource within our Corporate Infrastructure Technology Enablement (CITE) department to design and develop automations for Windows and Databases instances that deliver on our Agile Sprint outcomes. Including Microsoft Windows Servers Standard & Enterprise editions across 2016, 2019, and 2022 releases (Windows 2025 & Windows Core OS experience also is a plus). Database provisioning and administration knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2016/2019, MySQL 8, and PostgreSQL is preferred, along with applications such as Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), etc. These automations are used to facilitate the new builds for server as well as APP and DB provisioning and configurations leveraged by IT Operations teams and end-users alike.

Bachelors Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a related field.
5-6 years of experience in both Windows OS and Database technologies
5 years of experience scripting/developing automations in languages such as Powershell, Json, Ansible (Salt, chef is a suitable substitute), Python, Terraform
Experience with code version control; GITHub, GITLab, etc
Understanding Dev Ops fundamentals; CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes; Jenkins, etc
Understanding of Cloud design and infrastructure
Skilled in troubleshooting methodologies
Must have excellent written and oral communications, including technical documents, and process documents.

Bachelors degree in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience. 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Experience with Ansible or any industry automation/orchestration equivalent
Strong proficiency in scripting language Powershell, Json, Ansible, and/or Python; Terraform a strong nice to have
Experience using REST API to pull data is a plus
Strong mentoring and communications skills. A large portion of this job is interacting with customers who may have limited knowledge/experience with the tool
Strong problem-solving skills and goal driven
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
Experience working in a large enterprise environment and networks.
