Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handling Operator 1 to join their team. As a Material Handling Operator 1, you will be part of the warehouse support team supporting inventory management and material processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handling Operator 1

Location: Pomona, CA

Pay Range: $18.50

Shift: 4:00PM-12:30AM (must train on first)

What's the Job?

  • Unload material from incoming trailers and place in staging areas
  • Use a sit down, pacer and reach electric lifts
  • Break down pallets, sort material by Stock Keeping Unit, count, and separate
  • Place material away in proper locations while maintaining high standards
  • Stock and maintain correct inventory levels
  • Picks/Packs materials to prepare for assembly or shipment
What's Needed?
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic shop math knowledge
  • Must have experience using a sit down, pacer and reach electric lifts
  • Basic computer skills and use of mechanical/measuring tools
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
  • Must be able to work standing for the duration of the shift, reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy materials
