Overview

Join a brand-new 19-bed adolescent residential treatment center providing care for girls aged 1317 with dual-diagnosis behavioral health conditions including self-harm, depression, anxiety, and family conflict. This is a high-priority, immediate-start role offering professional growth and the opportunity to make a lasting impact from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate nursing care, health assessments, and medication administration.

  • Perform patient screenings and monitor for behavioral or physical changes.

  • Support crisis prevention and stabilization under facility safety protocols.

  • Document accurately in KIPU EMR and maintain compliance with policies.

  • Collaborate with Mental Health Technicians (MHTs), CNAs, and the multidisciplinary team.

  • Communicate clinical updates and concerns to the Executive Director.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active, unencumbered Texas RN license

  • Current BLS certification

  • Minimum 1 year of behavioral health, psychiatric, or residential treatment experience

Preferred:

  • ACLS certification

  • Experience with KIPU documentation system

  • Strong communication and crisis response skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • $45$52/hour (based on experience)

  • Overtime pay at 1.5x after 40 hours

  • Weekly direct deposit

  • Immediate start (facility opening Monday)

  • Credentialing assistance provided

  • Contract, PRN, or Temp-to-Hire options available
