HUD Recertification Specialist - $24/hr | Monday-Friday 8a.m.-4p.m.

We are seeking a HUD Recertification Specialist to support residents and communities by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant recertifications. This role is perfect for professionals who thrive in affordable housing, compliance, and property management operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete annual and interim HUD recertifications in compliance with HUD regulations and program requirements
  • Review resident files for accuracy, eligibility, and compliance
  • Maintain resident documentation and ensure all certifications are processed on schedule
  • Communicate with residents, management, and compliance staff regarding required information and updates
  • Stay current on HUD rules, regulations, and software systems (OneSite, RealPage, Yardi, etc.)
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with HUD programs, Section 8, or LIHTC strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HUD compliance and recertification processes
  • Proficiency in property management software (RealPage, OneSite, Yardi, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
