Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract role in a skilled nursing facility. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care, support resident health needs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to supervising clinicians.
- Support wound care, vital signs monitoring, and other routine nursing procedures.
- Accurately document all nursing interventions in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff to coordinate care.
- Respond to urgent or emergent situations following facility protocols.
- Assist with activities of daily living to promote resident comfort and well-being.
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team.
