Job Description
Prime Response Inc. (PRI), is seeking a full-time Warehouse Specialist and CDL Driver for a long-term government contract located in Arlington, VA. Main duties will include the handling of secure mail and property and cover Alexandria, VA, Washington County, MD, and the National Capitol Region. Note, this is not a driving only position. Primary duties will be Warehouse Specialist with secondary duties of CDL driving.
• Clean driving record
• Receiving, inspecting, delivering, and loading and unloading trucks
• Understands warehousing processes and systems
• Understands inventory management systems
• Experience with furniture moving
• Ability to use a computer
• Ability to work independently
• Highly dependable and punctual
• Furniture moves and relocations
• Transporting bulk items
• Operating Material Handling Equipment
• Operating the Warehouse Management System

Requirements
• CDL and active medical card required.
• Must be capable of passing a background check and drug test.
• Experience with Government contracts is preferred.
• Must have knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be capable of standing, bending, and walking for the majority of a workday.
• Ability to lift and carrying moderately heavy material (up to 50 lbs).
