Customer Service Representative II

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Summary:
Assisting Broker Dealer clients on day-to-day inquiries and escalations ranging from account opening, funds transfers, brokerage account maintenance, and platform/web navigation. This role involves receiving phone calls and email inquiries from existing clients and assisting (often over a multi-day period) to provide a complete and accurate resolution pleasantly and helpfully.
Responsibilities:
- Provides quality customer service and support to customers daily, including phone interaction, responding to verbal and/or written inquiries, problem resolution, and timely account transaction processing.
- Executes all correspondent requisites in a timely and accurate manner with an understanding of the underlying business and specific customer needs.
- Provides product knowledge and technical assistance as necessary.
- Investigates, corrects, and maintains customer accounts and statements in accordance with applicable regulations and policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and minimizing exposure related to assigned processing tasks.
- Enters and records customer and inquiry information in a computerized database.
- Helps resolve complicated customer complaints and coordinates with other departments to expedite inquiry resolution.
- Communicates problems or issues to management as needed.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily..
- Working background or education in financial services, ideally brokerage, security or retail banking industry
- Proven ability to analyze complex data
- Strong organizational skills
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp).
- Working knowledge of new account opening and account transfers in the brokerage securities industry
- Previous experience working with an independent firm
