Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing various events from conception to completion, ensuring that each event meets our organizational goals and provides a memorable experience for attendees. You will work closely with vendors, clients, and stakeholders to coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs, and on-site management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute events from start to finish while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations for each event.
  • Research and select suitable venues, vendors, and suppliers that align with budget and event requirements.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and kept within limits.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including catering, transportation, audiovisual needs, and decor.
  • Oversee on-site event management, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role, preferably in a professional setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to efficiently manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite; familiarity with event management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to execute events.
