We're seeking to hire a committed and self-motivated Prime Video Distribution Operations Coordinator to support and aid our Distribution Operations team. Our team works very closely with various in territory cross-functional teams in several verticals (Post Management, Localization, Delivery, Technology, Legal, Brand Marketing, and Prime Video Originals Publishing Operations, etc.) to ensure on-time delivery and content readiness to launch globally across all platforms.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, organized planner with the demonstrated ability to deliver results and respond efficiently while maintaining flexibility. A Positive attitude despite the pressures of a fast-paced environment is essential. The position requires Bias for Action with limited guidance, effectively managing multiple priorities with strong judgment and savvy problem-solving skills.

Key job responsibilities

-\tDevelop and maintain day-to-day schedules, prioritizing activities with good judgment and business understanding and proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts

-\tWork closely with the Head of Prime Video Distribution Operations to manage all administrative support functions, including meeting preparation, such as distributing copies, video and conference call coordination, and team event coordination

-\tPlan and maintain an annual calendar of events and schedules

-\tMaintain organization charts

-\tTrack and drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items as needed

-\tTrack title schedules and key dates for delivery; ensure timely updates to the Post Mastering Show Assignment Calendar

-\tSupport the Prime Video Distribution Managers on High profile series launches and projects

-\tTroubleshoot content, track and report issues

A day in the life

This role coordinates with a dynamic team of 10+ members, providing direct support to the Head of Prime Video Distribution Operations. Key responsibilities include managing executive calendar commitments and collaborating with team members on title and initiative organization and tracking.

This role will have room to grow and expand existing distribution workflows through tools and SOP refinement and oversee increasing content volume as our studio continues to grow.

About the team

Amazon MGM Studios is the content development and production arm of Amazon.com. We make and deliver Amazon Originals content for Amazon Prime and various other customers. Over the past 5 years, we have debuted award-winning and ground-breaking content like Fallout, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Air, The Wheel of Time and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

The Studio Content Services team covers post production delivery, archive, and distribution of series and movies globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of administrative assistant experience

- 2+ years of coordination, project management, asset operations or post delivery experience

- 2+ years of episodic and film workflows technical experience

- 2+ years of experience in Fulfillment/Servicing/Distribution/Asset Operations/Post Delivery at Studios, Networks or High-Volume Production Companies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Project management experience

- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products

- Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role

- Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

- Experience leveraging and improving proprietary tooling

- Knowledge of digital media assets / various file formats

- Prior operational experience in post-production

- Previous background in international content or localization of content

- Light travel may be required

- Good sense of humor

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
