As a CT Technologist, you will perform CT scans and x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment, adhering to standards set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American College of Radiology, and the Texas Medical Board.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and effective patient care protocols.
- Verify orders and follow appropriate procedures for examinations.
- Administer contrast material as needed and maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage patient flow for efficient exam completion and ensure quality service.
To qualify, you should have:
- 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist (preferred).
- A graduate of an accredited radiology program.
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with Texas Medical Board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT certification in Radiology and CT.
