Job Description
Olsson's Rail Traffic experts serve as a comprehensive resource for clients, offering a range of services including traffic signal preemption design, grade crossing safety design, traffic operations studies, and other related services. As a Project Engineer within the Rail Traffic team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with traffic and preemption analysis and design. Your responsibilities will include conducting site visits, contributing to the preparation of plans and studies, and collaborating closely with team members on complex projects.
Project Engineers on the Rail Traffic team can expect occasional travel to job sites for observation and to attend client meetings.
We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in working a remote or hybrid schedule out of our Irvine, Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Denver, Loveland, Omaha, and Lincoln office locations. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license

6+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Synchro, or similar software

Strong problem-solving and math skills

The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.
Colorado Pay Range
$114,000-$150,000USD
Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.
California Pay Range
$117,000-$174,000USD
