Job Summary
Under the supervision of the principal, the direction of certificated personnel, and in collaboration with support staff, assists all students as directed, with a focus on positive behavior intervention; implements specialized strategies to attain specific IEP/504 goals; assists teachers with routine clerical and non-instructional duties; and does other related work as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Letter of Introduction (addressed to Ms. Tracy Mouren-Laurens, Executive Director, Human Resources/Induction)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (two current with signatures)
- Paraprofessional Testing (applicant must attach documentation of meeting ESSA Paraprofessional requirements as listed in the Education Section [High school diploma or the equivalent, and two years of college (48 units), or A. A. degree (or higher), or passing CBEST results] OR will be asked to take an examination to demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.)
- Proof of HS Graduation (Acceptable formats: high school diploma or equivalent; transcripts [must show name and graduation date].
