Position Summary:
LER Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and resilient MRSS Crisis Therapist to join our evening crisis response team in Lorain County. This role is ideal for a licensed mental health professional who thrives in dynamic environments, understands the unique needs of Lorain's communities, and is committed to delivering immediate, trauma-informed care to individuals and families in crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote crisis intervention services during evening hours.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized crisis response plans.
- Deliver therapeutic support to clients and families experiencing acute emotional distress.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community partners to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training to enhance service delivery.
- Educate clients and families on coping strategies, safety planning, and available resources.
- Active licensure in Ohio as LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC (MFT/IMFT may be considered).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in crisis intervention or related mental health services.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Strong clinical assessment and crisis de-escalation skills.
- Familiarity with Lorain County and its diverse neighborhoods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Not currently experiencing burnout; emotionally available and engaged.
- Evening availability required.
- Deep understanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
- Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities.
- Calm under pressure, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- License verification in good standing
