Job Description

We are recruiting a StaffAccountant to join a stable and profitable distribution organization in Lodi, CA. Our client is looking for someone who can advance into Sr. Accountant and leadership role. This role will assist with financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

SALARY: $75,000 Annually. Including generous benefits such as 401(k) with employer match, dental and health benefits and paid time off

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions and vendor payments
  • Maintain a well-organized accounting system in compliance with GAAP and internal standards
  • Prepare and reconcile journal entries, general ledger accounts, and financial statements
  • Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and the preparation of quarterly and annual financial report
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management
  • Knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle NetSuite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative working style
