Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced OB environment. The RN will manage laboring patients, provide newborn care, and collaborate with the healthcare team, including potential floating to MS, ICU, or ER as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients.
  • Serve as OR circulator for OB procedures.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient progress.
  • Utilize EMR (Epic) for documentation and patient care coordination.
  • Assist with floating assignments as needed to MS, ICU, or ER, supporting stable adult overflow patients.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of OB/L&D experience.
  • Licensure: Active MT RN license or compact license.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN fetal heart monitoring (all must be active and on file at submission).
  • Technical Skills: Epic EMR experience required.
  • Other: OR circulator experience in OB, ability to float to MS, ICU, or ER.

Additional Information:

  • Radius: Must reside within a 100-mile radius.
  • Schedule Requests: All RTO or schedule requests must be included at time of submission; HCF will not approve changes after submission.
  • Demographics: Complete information required at submission: Address, email, full DOB, SSN, and full name.
  • Uniform: Hospital provides scrubs (ciel blue).
  • Interview Process: HWL pre-screen interview followed by manager final interview and offer.
