LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading CPG company in the western suburbs looking to grow out their marketing operations team

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Specialist to provide critical administrative support and coordination for their operations team. This role is essential for the successful commercialization of new and existing products, overseeing complex packaging projects, and managing portfolio and budget execution across the business. The ideal candidate is a resilient, proactive, and analytical self-starter with excellent communication skills.

Marketing Operations Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Commercialization Support: Coordinate and support the commercialization process for new and existing SKUs, including private label and line extension projects.
  • Packaging Management: Oversee and manage the execution of pack artwork development and approval processes.
  • Portfolio and Budget Tracking: Assist Marketing Directors with budget management, expense tracking, and portfolio performance analysis.
  • Administrative Functions: Manage meeting schedules, compile detailed meeting minutes, track and follow up on critical action items, and maintain essential marketing documentation.
  • Project Execution: Provide logistical and administrative support for special innovation projects as assigned.
  • Collaboration: Act as a key administrative link, working cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure project adherence to timelines.
Marketing Operations Specialist Qualifications:
  • Some college or a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing support or administrative role.
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or foodservice industry is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to deliver results and effectively manage multiple competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Highly accountable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all tasks.
  • Resilient, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement of processes and workflows.
Pay: Up to $40.00/hr
