Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team in Jacksonville, FL. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of enterprise data systems, particularly during a large-scale data migration initiative. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in data validation, SQL, ETL processes, and test automation, along with the ability to operate at a senior level and communicate effectively across teams.Responsibilities:
  • Validate and test data during an Oracle (on-prem) to Snowflake migration
  • Analyze, validate, and execute data scripts created by third-party vendors
  • Design and execute data quality and validation test plans, including automated testing where applicable
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams to identify data quality risks and resolve issues
  • Support ETL testing and data pipeline validation (deep expertise not required; exposure is sufficient)
  • Contribute to automation efforts using Python and DBT where applicable
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrate leadership and ownership consistent with a senior-level role

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
