The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining effective inventory control within the store. As an expert in inbound and outbound inventory activities, you will ensure that our sales floor is well-stocked and presents a delightful experience for customers, while meeting our sales goals. Additionally, you will support the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist in managing merchandise flow, ensuring inventory accuracy, and upholding cleanliness in the stock room.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a service-oriented culture to foster lasting customer relationships.
- Accurately process all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Verify merchandise deliveries adhere to company standards.
- Prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company ticketing and signage guidelines.
- Attach EAS tags to merchandise prior to display in compliance with Loss Prevention protocols.
- Timely input for all freight information using the designated systems.
- Efficiently execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets, and markdowns in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain productivity by meeting or exceeding units per hour (UPH) targets.
- Keep the stock room organized and compliant with all guidelines.
- Adhere to local, federal, and state laws along with company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Exhibit professionalism in communication and teamwork with customers, teammates, corporate partners, and vendors.
