Join Our Team as a Part-time Assembly Technician

SPAR Merchandising & Assembly Inc. (SM&A) is a premier provider of field services for Fortune 1000 manufacturers and retailers across the U.S. We are dedicated to supporting the retail industry through our contract services including merchandising, auditing, installation, and assembly, available in nearly every zip code in the country, including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for part-time, ongoing assembly work both in-store (for a nationwide office supply chain) and for in-home furniture assembly. As a Technician with SM&A, Inc., you will be responsible for assembling Ready-To-Assemble (RTA) furniture. We also have exciting opportunities for those experienced in assembling TV Wall Mounts, Gas Grills, Sporting Goods, Bicycles, and Display Racks.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in merchandising and/or commercial furniture assembly.
  • Ability to effectively assemble products based on written instructions.
  • Capable of reading plan-o-grams and completing customized category resets independently.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable bending and standing for extended periods.
  • Access to the internet and an active email address.
  • Willingness to report completed work on the same day as service.
  • Reliable transportation; some local travel required.
  • Must have your own tools.
