Position Overview

As an Automotive Technician at Tire Discounters, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of automotive services, such as shocks, struts, steering, alignments, brakes, transmissions, and routine maintenance. Your role is vital in ensuring the operational success of our service center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide precise vehicle diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Conduct test drives of vehicles before and after repairs to ensure safety and quality.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment and assist your colleagues as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years automotive repair experience (ASE certifications are a plus but not mandatory).
  • Must possess your own tools (tool purchase program is available).
  • Capability to operate automotive machines and equipment (experience with diagnostic scanners is preferred).
  • Strong skills in customer service, organization, and communication.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and availability to work Saturdays.
  • Comfortable with occasional exposure to mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
  • Authorized to work in the USA (18+).

Compensation

Pay: $50,000 - $100,000+ annually (hourly + commission). Our Service Technicians benefit from one of the industry's best pay plans, including a weekly hourly rate, commission on labor, and variable overtime.
