Support Healing Through Creativity and Expression
High Focus Centers, a trusted leader in behavioral healthcare, is seeking a part-time Expressive Arts Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role will provide support across several outpatient locations, including Paoli, Center City Philadelphia, Northeast Philadelphia, Lansdale, and Jenkintown, and requires regular travel between sites.
High Focus Centers has a strong history of delivering quality outpatient care in southeastern Pennsylvania through programs such as Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. Our individualized treatment approach serves both adults and adolescents managing mental health, substance use, and eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group expressive arts therapy sessions using trauma-informed and creative practices
- Prepare materials and therapeutic spaces for session delivery
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support coordinated treatment planning
- Assess clients' behavioral and emotional needs and contribute to therapeutic goals
- Complete documentation in accordance with program timelines, in coordination with primary therapists
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and clinical supervision as required
- Maintain a safe, structured, and ethical therapeutic environment, including appropriate crisis intervention
- Travel regularly between locations
- Assist in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Perform other duties as needed to support effective clinical care
- Master's degree in Expressive Arts Therapy required
- Certification in Expressive Arts Therapy or related credential preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with mental health, substance use, and/or eating disorders
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and travel between program sites
