Staff Accountant - Commercial Real Estate - Temp-to-Perm

One of the largest commercial real estate firms in Orange County is seeking an up-and-coming Staff Accountant to join their team. Focusing on reconciliations and assisting with intercompany transactions, this is an excellent role for a strong Junior Accountant or Staff Accountant looking to join a top-tier company in the heart of Irvine. This is a temp-to-perm role, and company is looking to hire quickly

Responsibilities
  • Recording of corporate and Property Management cash receipts to the general ledger
  • Assist with monthly intercompany transactions
  • Recording of bank activity to the general ledger
  • Recording journal entries to the general ledger and preparation of related support packages
  • Assisting with bank account maintenance for corporate bank accounts
  • Preparation of bank account reconciliations and other various balance sheet accounts
  • Assisting with quarter and year end reporting as well as internal and external audit requests
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with Accounting or related field preferred. Candidates nearing completion of their degreed will also be considered
  • 1+ years of corporate accounting experience or a strong Accounting internship program will be considered
  • Real Estate Accounting experience preferred, not required
  • Proficient with Excel and the entire Microsoft Office Suite
  • Yardi experience preferred, not required
  • Banking and/or cash management accounting background a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player

This is an excellent entry-level Corporate Accounting role with one of the largest companies in Orange County. Role is hybrid, working from home Monday and Friday. This is a temp-to-perm role, and company is looking to hire quickly. Please apply directly. Thank you
