Lead Strategic Account Manager

As a Lead Strategic Account Manager at d'Local (DLO), you will oversee a portfolio of our most distinguished global enterprise merchants, uncovering new business opportunities and fostering lasting partnerships. You will tailor your approach to understand the unique needs of each merchant, providing expert guidance in payments to facilitate their growth. Your role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling, while also leading and developing a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Establish deep, trusting, long-term relationships with decision-makers and executives across your strategic accounts by understanding their requirements and delivering customized solutions.
- Design and implement targeted commercial portfolio strategies that align with dLocal's vision and the specific needs of merchants.
- Proactively prioritize and manage multiple projects and teams to ensure the successful delivery of our solutions.
- Serve as a regional expert, providing valuable insights to bolster broader sales and account management strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and through professional networking opportunities.
- Lead and mentor your team, setting clear goals and facilitating their professional development.
Who You Are

- Highly adept at leveraging business acumen and analytical skills to align strategic goals and support customers in achieving them.
- Proactive in managing multiple cross-functional projects, motivating and collaborating with teams to drive results.
- Passionate about engaging in strategic payments discussions, representing business reviews, and leading high-level technical conversations.
Additional Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a client-facing, commercial role, such as account management, consulting, or within the payments industry, with a robust background in complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Full professional written and verbal proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time; proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
