Certified Medical Assistant
needed for a contract
opportunity with Yoh's primary care clinic located in Northbrook, IL.
This primary care clinic also provides behavioral health, chiropractic, and physical therapy. Seeking a CMA that is proficient in phlebotomy, POCT, and EKG's and is comfortable with front desk duties such as answering the phones and scheduling appointments.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Duration:
12/15-3/9 with possible extension or direct placement
Pay:$19-23/hr

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
  • Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
  • Cleans and sterilizes instruments
  • Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
  • Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
  • Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
  • Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients
  • Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk
  • Keys data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records
  • May require other duties as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  • National Medical Assisting Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Strong experience in Phlebotomy, POCT, EKG
  • Front desk experience preferred
  • Epic experience is preferred
